'The End Of Oak Street' Plot Summary: After a mysterious cosmic event rips Oak Street from suburbia and transports their neighborhood to someplace unknown, a family soon discovers that their very survival depends on them sticking together as they navigate their now unrecognizable surroundings.

This film is a must-see masterpiece, a throwback to the epic blockbuster films of the 1980's and 1990's, the best dinosaur media to be created since the 'Jurassic Park' franchise of the 90's, and so so fun!
The film is set in the 1980's and the first act before the action starts is absolutely magically, so relaxing and nostalgic for those that experienced the pre-cell phone era.
Also in the first act, we get to know the characters deep and raw, and that continues as they progress through the chaos of the story, making the audience really care about their well being and deaths.
The acting from the star studded cast is excellent, with Hathaway, McGregor, Byrne, and Convery all delivering memorable characters.
Unlike in the 'Jurassic Park' franchise, the dinosaurs are not presented as awe inspiring creatures, with modern audiences being well breadth in dinosaur content, the focus stays firmly on the human characters.
The dinosaur creature designed is excellent, all of the dinosaurs are digital creations, and they were made with the most up to date science, many with feathers and almost fur-like pelts rather than just scaly skin.
The film has a perfect pacing, which really delivers in the short runtime, no parts you will wish were edited out.
The climax is shocking and violent, great action scenes with teeth and gore, and an equally great conclusion that is thoughtful and well rounded.
Like all horror films, this one requires suspension of disbelief, you have to not take it too seriously and just have a good time.

Directed by David Robert Mitchell, known for 'It Follows' (2014) and 'They Follow' (2027).

'The End Of Oak Street' cast features: Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor, Maisy Stella, Christian Convery, Jordan Alexa Davis, P.J.Byrne, and others.
