This is the coming-of-age chronicle of a young survivor, his journey narrated as he navigates a ruined continent alongside a grizzled vampire hunter.

The film is surpassingly beautiful and unfolds at a deliberate, relaxed pace, immersing viewers in desolate landscapes and the quiet despair of its survivors. Echoing the pioneer spirit of the tv series 'Firefly' and the gritty survivalism of 'The Walking Dead' tv series , a dream-like score adds an ethereal layer to their harsh reality. These vampires aren't the elegant bloodsuckers we're used to; instead, the vampires are animalistic and behave more like modern iterations of zombies, these ones are dispatched only by a brutal spine break. Like a zombie video game, various types of these vampires evolve, differing in intelligence and speed, ensuring each encounter presents a fresh, evolving threat.
