There is no director chosen to helm this production yet; James Wan is working with the writer on another project, so we think there is a chance he could take this on if he has the time.

The film will centre around an exorcism in Mexico City and is loosely based on a true story.

Atomic Monster and Blumhouse are the studios behind this production, but that's really all we know so far.

We expect The Root Of All Evil to release in 2027.
