The sequel to 'Wolf Creek' (2005), we return to the sun-drenched and desolate Australian Outback where (based on a real serial killer) Mick Taylor has still not been stopped; a little hard to believe with the body count in this film.

The film comes in hot with a vicious cold open that assumes you saw the original (we highly recommend you watch it first), gruesome and shocking deaths right from the get go, setting the relentless tone.

The gore is next level, particularly in a stomach churning butchering scene, the penectomy will have men clutching their genitals.

The performances are great, particularly from Jarratt who gives another truly memorable performance as the sadistic psychopathic serial killer, his voice will haunt your mind for days, Piggy! Piggy! Piggy!

A pretty big budget for special effects, we get pyrotechnics, CGI kangaroos, and so much bloody practical effects, all well done.

The film has a rather unexpected ending that will please some viewers and leave some unsatisfied.
