This gun heavy action thriller is surprisingly good, a must-see mashup of science fiction and romance.
Taylor-Joy and Teller both give great performances, they have chemistry and their romance is very believable in a film that requires a lot of suspension of disbelief.
The film creates a beautiful world within in our world, blending physical sets for the towers and CGI enhanced visuals of the Norwegian landscape.
The action sequences are very thrilling, with creative and well crafted CGI monsters, and a futuristic techno score that really elevates and sets the mood; we can't help but wish they didn't show the monsters though.
We also wish the story had some refinement in the final act, there is too many ideas and too many monsters, but the CGI is very well done and a treat for the eyes.
Lots of eye candy for everyone in this film, both leads bare nearly all of their sculpted bodies; we recommend having a romantic date night on the sofa with your special someone.
