This is considered one of the best movies ever made, the camera work was cutting edge, and completely changed film forever, it is a must-see masterpiece.

The unique and artistic murder scene in this is a must see and it has been referenced in hundreds of tv shows because it is so iconic, and in a way it gave birth to the slasher sub-genre, horror would never be the same again.

There is a good sequel to this film, 'Psycho II' (1983), and two more that aren't as good, an unnecessary remake, plus the prequel tv series 'Bates Motel' (2013-2017).
