Effects range from intentionally cheap to surprisingly polished, kills are slapstick violent rather than scary, and characters are intentional caricatures.
Scariness is nonexistent; the film aims for outrageous humour, titillating horror fanatics with references.
Whether it works depends entirely on your tolerance for crude and inappropriate jokes, it's juvenile and ridiculous.
