This is a truly unique and clever film in terms of story, but also unique in that it mostly takes place in one room.

What the hell is happening in this small Canadian town??

Is the cause of the mystery satisfying? We will leave that up to you to decide.

Interestingly, if you are blind, you will have a nearly equal experience as someone with sight; the film was originally a radio play.

Pretty low on scares and action, but it is wonderfully titillating.

Directed by Bruce McDonald.

'Pontypool' cast features: Lisa Houle, Stephen McHattie, Laura Nordin, Hrant Alianak and Georgina Reilly.
