'Resident Evil' Plot Summary: Follows a hapless courier tasked with delivering a package to a remote hospital. He soon finds himself caught in the middle of an outbreak and must fight through hordes of mutated creatures to survive.

This is not a sequel or a remake, it will be a spin-off within the 'Resident Evil' (dormant since 2016), the film will take place within the same universe, but it will follow the story of new characters, following a popular trend in franchises in 2020's.
Directed by the rising star, Zach Cregger, known for Weapons (2025) and Barbarian (2022)
'Resident Evil' cast features: Austin Abrams, Zach Cherry, Kali Reis, Paul Walter Houser, Johnno Wilson, and others.

The 'Resident Evil' spin-off will release September 18, 2026.
