Get ready to travel to the 70’s for this literal pornographic trip, which was a time with blockbuster porn films watched in theatres.

This beautiful and creepy film was inspired by The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, full of sex and violence, it is a must-see masterpiece.

Major themes are the pursuit of The American Dream, the fear of ageing, and wanting to be sexually desired.

We love the character development, very graphic nudity (lots of eye candy for everyone), great score, eerie atmosphere, and the special effects makeup and gore.

This film has a prequel, ‘Pearl’, viewing order is up to you, but we recommend you watch the prequel first; there is a sequel too!

We love how they tie this film together with the prequel (Pearl) that was secretly shot at the same time; and in theatres a trailer played for it right after the film, so cool!

Goth plays Maxine and Pearl (the now old lady) from the prequel film, Ti West is brilliant!

Directed by Ti West.

'X' cast features: Mia Goth, Jenna Ortega, Brittany Snow, Kid Cudi, Martin Henderson, Owen Campbell, Stephen Ure, and others.

*Trigger warning: drug use, sexual assault, and forced confinement.*
