Like the original, the legendary Guillermo Del Toro is a writer on the screenplay.

'Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark 2' cast features: Dean Norris, Austin Zajur, Zoe Colletti, Natalie Ganzhorn, and others.

Director André Øvredal says the project is stuck in “copyright ownership hell” between CBS Films and EOne, both of which have since been dissolved or absorbed.

We expect 'Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark 2' to release in 2027.
