'Children Of The Corn' Plot Summary: A young couple is trapped in a remote town where a dangerous religious cult of children believes that everyone over age 18 must be killed.
Lots and lots of corn, like so much corn in this Stephen King story.
Is this a great film? Yes, and also no.
Something unique about this film is that most of the cast are children.
The opening scene is so iconic and so is the score, the filming has some great deaths and hilarious 80’s CGI.
We love a film with a narrator, the atmosphere, sets, and cinematography are excellent too.
Young and old viewers will love the 80’s Americana. Why don’t they just use their cell phones???
Be prepared for the film to drag a bit and have a very abrupt ending.
Directed by Fritz Kiersch, unfortunately this was their one hit wonder.
'Children Of The Corn' cast features: Peter Horton, Linda Hamilton, R.G Armstrong, and others.
*Trigger warning: dog death
